Learning About Your eWIC Card

New to WIC? Learn more about the program and your eWIC card with our resources below. Your eWIC card will be reloaded when your next monthly benefit period begins. When you've used all your WIC benefits for the month, don't throw away the card – any unused benefits do not roll over.

Checking Your WIC Benefits

To check the amount of WIC benefits remaining on your card, review your most recent shopping receipt or call Customer Service at 1-85. You can also visit the cardholder web portal to stay updated. When making a purchase, you can pay with your SNAP card, gift card, cash, debit card, or check.

Important Reminders

Remember that not all items you buy may be on your family's WIC Shopping List. If you lose your eWIC card, it's stolen, or damaged, contact Customer Service immediately at 1-85.

Keeping Your eWIC Card Safe

It's crucial to keep up with your eWIC card to ensure you can pick up your WIC foods when needed. The back of your eWIC card contains a magnetic strip that you'll swipe through a card reader at the grocery store. WIC will use this number to send your benefits to your account each month.
